Goliath

Le théâtre , Alliance Française de Singapour
Director: Frédéric Tellier
Cast: Pierre Niney, Emmanuelle Bercot, Gilles Lellouche
Rating: M18
France, a sport teacher by day and a factory worker by night, is a fierce activist against the use of pesticides. Patrick, an obscure and solitary Parisian lawyer, specializes in environmental law. Mathias, a brilliant lobbyist in a hurry, defends the interests of an agrochemical giant.
Goliath sets a poignant and thought-provoking drama, through the particularly unfriendly character embodied by Pierre Niney, and the endearing and natural Emmanuelle Bercot. A hard-hitting film that questions our connection to the environment.
