1. Registration Officer

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Description
Reporting directly to the Registrar, you shall provide high level support for the Language Centre with excellent customer service, perform student registration, recordkeeping and general office tasks.
You shall also work closely with other employees from Alliance’s departments and liaise with a range of stakeholders including customers, vendors and partner organisations.
Your tasks shall include the following:
• Greet visitors, students and respond to requests for information and provide assistance either to walk-ins, via email or on the phone, regarding the class registration process, refund policies, change of classes and deferment, course catalogue, placement test and private tuition or any other question related to the language centre activities
• Register students for courses and workshops and renewal/extension of private tuition
• Under the direct supervision of Academic Coordinator: register students for official French language exams (DELF /DALF/TEF/TCF/DAEFLE/CCIP), put DELF/DALF students’ data and results into the DELF/DALF system, archive all the DELF/DALF examination papers accordingly, allocate time slot for DELF/DALF oral, issue convocations to DELF/DALF students, issue DELF/DALF certificates.
• Settle the daily account for NETS/VISA/MASTERCARD/AMEX/CASH payments
• Make phone calls to students and parents for late payment
• Call and email students and parents for changes related to classes, follow-up of registration, outstanding payments, etc.
• Print and issue letters of attendance, letters of registration and certificates
• Place signage for classroom during the beginning of the new term and for any change of teachers and classrooms
• Provide support as assigned by Registrar, Academic Coordinator or Director of Studies
• Maintain students’ database by encoding accurate data into the system, and constantly updating all pending requirements to complete students’ records and information
• Ensure proper storage of all files and scholastic documents
• Provide information and sell bookshop products and learning materials
• Maintain a proper storage and organization of bookshop products
• Advise on order quantities to always ensure sufficient stock of books
CONDITIONS & COMPENSATION:
• Contract length: Permanent

• 42 hours per week
• Salary range for this role between SGD 2,800 and SGD 3,100 Monthly + end-of-year bonus based on performance

2. EVENT & DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Event & Development Executive supports the delivery of cultural activities and venue rental operations at Alliance Française de Singapour. The role works closely with colleagues across departments to ensure that events, partnerships, and venue rentals are coordinated smoothly, professionally, and in line with institutional guidelines.
This position is suited to a proactive and organised individual who is comfortable working across artistic, operational, and client-facing environments, and who is able to take ownership of tasks while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Event Management & Cultural Coordination
- Support the planning, organisation, and execution of cultural events (exhibitions, performances, talks, workshops, screenings, festivals)
- Coordinate logistics with artists, speakers, vendors, and external partners
- Support on-site coordination before and during events
- Monitor timelines and operational requirements in collaboration with internal teams
- Ensure smooth handover and continuity between interns and temporary staff
- Maintain event-related documentation and records
2. Sponsorship & Partnership Support
- Support the coordination of sponsors and partners aligned with Alliance Française’s cultural programmes
- Assist in preparing partnership proposals and sponsor documentation
- Coordinate in-kind sponsorships (e.g. wine, gastronomy, décor, non-technical equipment)
- Ensure sponsor visibility and benefits are delivered according to agreed arrangements
- Maintain sponsorship and partner databases
- Support preparation of post-event reports for partners and internal stakeholders
3. Event Space Rental Coordination & Client Administration
- Assist in managing incoming event space rental enquiries and client communications
- Check venue availability and coordinate scheduling with relevant teams
- Prepare, issue, and track quotations and contracts based on agreed parameters
- Coordinate administrative follow-ups, including contract signing and payment tracking
- Act as a point of contact for clients on administrative and logistical matters
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure venue rental requirements are communicated clearly
- Support compliance with venue policies, operational timelines, and agreed terms
- Maintain accurate records of rental agreements, client correspondence, and payment status
4. Operational Coordination & Collaboration
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment across cultural, operational, and administrative aspects of events and rentals
- Proactively manage assigned tasks, anticipate follow-ups, and flag potential issues early
- Escalate matters requiring approval, technical input, or policy clarification in a timely manner
- Contribute to improving internal processes, documentation, and coordination workflows
PROFILE & SKILLS
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in event coordination, venue operations, cultural administration, or client-facing roles
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to handle pressure, take initiative, and proactively take ownership of tasks
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a collaborative environment
- Willingness to work evenings or weekends when required by events or rentals

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Alliance Française de Singapour is looking for a French FLE teacher to teach young people, and adults from A1 to C1.
The position requires a commitment from the professor to the Alliance's innovation and development projects and good versatility in order to be able to provide courses at the Alliance, in companies or schools, as well as in person, online.
PRESENTATION OF THE ORGANIZATION:
Alliance Française of Singapour is a local non-profit educational and cultural organization, affiliated with the international network of Alliances Françaises. With a mixed team of Singaporeans and French, and more than 4,000 members of all ages, the Alliance Française de Singapore fulfills its mission of teaching the French language and promoting French and Francophone cultures by offering various actions in its language center, gallery, theatre and library.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
– French mother tongue;
– Experience in early education would be a plus;
– Openness to innovative teaching practices in person, remotely;
– Possess qualities of communication, initiative, and adaptation;
– Demonstrate dynamism, enthusiasm, involvement and cultural openness;
– DELF-DALF examiner/corrector accreditation would be a plus;
– A minimum B1 level in English.
REQUIRED DIPLOMA: Master 2 of FLE and/or DAEFLE
TYPE OF CONTRACT : Fixed-term contract
HOURLY VOLUME PER WEEK: 20 hours on average up to 30 hours– 6 sessions of 8 weeks/year, 16h Guaranteed hours + 4 weeks paid leave
DURATION : Local full-time contract for 1 year, renewable.
REMUNERATION:

GALLERY & EVENTS ASSISTANT |

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Alliance Française de Singapour is seeking a self-motivated, hands-on, and culturally curious Gallery and Events Assistant to join its Cultural team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain insightful experience in the development, curation and management of exhibitions and cultural programmes, including the “French Excellence” exhibitions — large-scale museographic projects exploring fields in which France has achieved international recognition, such as art, gastronomy, heritage, science, design or craftsmanship. The gallery also regularly presents contemporary art exhibitions designed to foster dialogue between French and Singaporean artists, creating opportunities for cross-cultural exchange and collaboration.
Working closely with the Cultural Programming Manager, the assistant will contribute to all stages of exhibition development — from research and curatorial conception to mediation, audience engagement and operational delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Exhibition Curation & Development
Contributing to curatorial research and exhibition concept development, including defining the narrative “red thread” of the exhibition
Liaising with artists, cultural institutions, museums and partners to identify and procure artworks, archives or exhibition materials
Supporting the development of exhibition content and interpretation materials
Assisting in the definition of the exhibition layout and visitor journey
Coordinating with exhibition designers through a call-for-bidding process to select appropriate design partners
Acting as liaison between artists, cultural institutions and designers to ensure that the artistic vision, logistics and budget are respected
2. Cultural Mediation & Audience Engagement

Designing and conducting guided tours in English and French for adult audiences

Developing interactive mediation tools such as gamebooks for children’s tours

Collaborating with Alliance Française teachers to develop pedagogical visits for language students

Creating specialised tours for schools, universities and corporate groups

3. Gallery Operations & Sales

Assisting with the installation, opening and dismantling of exhibitions

Supporting the day-to-day operations of the gallery during opening hours

Handling inquiries related to artworks and coordinating the sales process with artists regarding pricing, availability and administrative follow-up

- Familiarity with the Singaporean cultural scene
