FOCUS COURSES


In addition to general French classes, we offer you a wide range of Focus Courses - exam preparation, grammar and conversation as well as workshops based on your learning needs.

We are also the ONLY accredited examination centre for official French language tests and diplomas such as the DELF/DALF and TEF.  
Exam preparation DELF/DALF

Join these classes for a complete preparation of your exam. Course includes exam overview, practice with sample exercises and activities, written and oral simulation. All four parts of the exam are covered.

Focus on Grammar

Holding Master 1 Degree in French as a Foreign Language, Emmanuel has been teaching in Singapore for the past eighteen years. He teaches adults and children, general French classes as well as conversation and grammar classes.

Thematic Conversation

Break away from the regular classes and spent time in a friendly environment talking in French about something that really excites you or that is completely new to you but always wanted to learn about. You will have the opportunity to enrich your knowledge on different weekly themes chosen by the class. You can also review any doubt you may have in grammar, dialectic and construction of sentences for the benefit of all.

Focus on Literature

Discover classic and contemporary French and Francophone literature through the analysis and discussion of major literary works, focusing on a specific theme woven through a variety of texts. This course is designed for literature lovers who would like to learn about the history of literature, of French expression, and to become more independent in reading challenging texts in their original French language.

The Teacher: Virgile PROD'HOMME
 

He served as a French Lector at universities in Austria and Romania. During this period, he notably helped organise the "Choix Goncourt de la Roumanie", a student literary prize. Since 2023, he has been the Director of Courses at the Alliance Française de Singapour, where he contributes to the promotion of Francophone culture. He is a recipient of the Ordre des Palmes académiques.
