"Weekly Giveaways" terms and conditions

1-Eligibility

1.1 These lucky draws (“Weekly Giveaways”) are organized by Alliance Française de Singapour in partnership with DHM Group, So Sofitel, Spirit Castle, and TV5 Monde.
1.2 The lucky draws are valid from 28th September to 25th October 2020, both dates inclusive (“Draw Period”).
1.3 The lucky draws apply only to participants who are first-time students of Alliance Française de Singapour.
1.4 The lucky draws apply only to participants who have signed up, during the Draw Period, for Adult group classes (excluding private tuition and corporate courses and workshops) for the upcoming Term F.
1.5 The lucky draws are not open to participants under eighteen (18) years old; participants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age on 28th September 2020 to participate in the lucky draw.
1.6 On successful registration to a group class for Term F, the student will be automatically entered to the respective week’s lucky draw.
1.7 There will be four (04) winners in total, with one (01) winner per week/item.

2. Conduct of Lucky Draws

2.1 Each of the four (04) lucky draws will commence on the respective Monday in the period of 28th September to 25th October 2020. The list of participants of a week’s lucky draw will close at 12:00am (midnight) on the Sunday before the commencement of the next week’s lucky draw. 
2.2 Winners will be drawn at random by Alliance Française de Singapour on the Draw Date using methods (which may be manual or computerised), as Alliance Française de Singapour may determine.
2.3 The lucky draw will be held at Alliance Française de Singapour, at 1 Sarkies Road, Singapore 258130.

3. Prizes

3.1 Each participant will only be eligible to win a maximum of one (01) prize. Each participant who enrolls in Term F and is at least eighteen (18) years old will be automatically entered to the respective week’s ongoing lucky draw, and he/she cannot win more than once.
3.2 Winners will be published on the Alliance Française de Singapour website and respective Facebook and Instagram pages.
3.3 Alliance Française de Singapour reserves the right to draw a reserve winner or winners to replace a winner who is subsequently disqualified or whose prize is forfeited for any reasons whatsoever.
3.4 Prizes must be collected at Alliance Française de Singapour, at 1 Sarkies Road, Singapore 258130 in person based on the name that was submitted in the sign up form for the "Term F" course, or by an authorized representative. The representative must present the authorization letter from the winner, and both the winner’s and representative’s original NRIC or passport at point of collection. A picture of the winner will be taken by Alliance Française de Singapour during the collection of the prize, which may be used for promotional purposes.
3.5 Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or exchangeable for cash. 
3.6 The winners of the lucky draw will be notified by the end of October 2020 via a notification email with the date and time slot of collection. All unclaimed prizes will be forfeited. 
3.7 Acceptance of any prize shall constitute a release and discharge of Alliance Française de Singapour by each winner from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, and/or damages which the winner may have, whether known or unknown at the present time, of any nature whatsoever, arising out of or relating to: the contest, personal injury and/or property damage, theft or loss suffered by the winner as a result of the use and/or enjoyment of the prize, and/or any tax liabilities in relation to the contest, prize and/or use or enjoyment of the same.

4. General Terms and Conditions

4.1 By participating in the lucky draw, the participant is deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
4.2 Alliance Française de Singapour be entitled to use the name, and pictures/photographs of any winner for print advertisement or any publicity materials; and may other engage any winner for its publicity purposes without any compensation.
4.3 By participating in the lucky draw, the winners are deemed to have expressly consented to Alliance Française de Singapour be contacted via electronic means.
4.4 Alliance Française de Singapour has the absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of a participant in participating in the lucky draw or receiving a prize. Alliance Française de Singapour’s decision on all matters relating to or in connection with the lucky draw shall be final and binding. No correspondence or claims will be entertained.
4.5 Alliance Française de Singapour may, at any time and without prior notice or liability to any party, suspend or terminate the lucky draw or vary these terms and conditions.
