Join author and artist Siyuan Aw for an uplifting journey through Our Wings As One (Des Ailes Pour Deux), a beautifully illustrated picture book. Inspired by a transformative encounter with a young eagle hunter in Western Mongolia, the story explores love, resilience, letting go, and finding hope after loss.  

This special event features an author talk and Q&A, a bilingual reading in English and French, book sale (English & French copies) and book signing. Visitors will also enjoy an exhibition of the original paintings of the book, offering a rare glimpse into the creative journey behind this moving story.

About the author and illustrator

SIYUAN AW was born in Singapore. He has lived in Shanghai and London, where he spent many years making stories in the world of advertising, at BHH, Ogilvy and DDB. Alongside this professional journey runs a quieter current: a devotion to art, meditation, and nature. His paintings, exhibited in Shanghai, Paris and Singapore, explore our connection with nature and conversations with the unknown. His picture book, Our Wings As One, emerged from a journey across West Mongolia, where he met Bekku and his eagle. It is a meditation on release and renewal - on the strength it takes to let go, and the freedom that follows.
