STORYTIME (CNY Edition)
Year of the Dragon at la Médiathèque!
Among the excitement of the Lunar New Year, the library hosted a very special storytime that brought joy to both kids and grown-ups alike, on Saturday 24 February 2024.
It was a chance to explore the fascinating world of Chinese traditions and dragons, and share them with the younger generation.
Families were warmly welcomed by our team as they entered the library, ready to embark on an adventure through stories.
In the cosy storytelling area, children eagerly settled in with their parents, excited to hear the tales waiting for them.
Our librarians put up a enchanting performance, together with dance and sound effects, which kept everyone captivated. The stories were presented in either English, French or bilingual, to ensure everyone could enjoy the magic of the tales.
Together, we embraced the joy of Lunar New Year and shared in the excitement of the festivities. Here's to a year ahead filled with happiness, adventure, and the wisdom of the dragon!
