À TABLE! From Vines to Wine
From the rolling hills of Bordeaux to the sun-drenched vineyards of Provence, À TABLE! From Vines to Wine (7 February to 18 April), as part of our French Excellence programme invited visitors into the rich and living world of French viticulture, a story shaped by diverse landscapes, meticulous craftsmanship, and centuries of shared knowledge.
Co-produced by Alliance Française de Singapour and the Cité du Vin, this ambitious exhibition unfolded as a journey from vineyard to glass, revealing the many layers that make wine both a prestigious cultural heritage and a profound sensory experience.
FROM TERROIR TO TECHNIQUE: THE ART OF WINEMAKING
The journey began in the heart of the vineyard, where visitors explored how terroirs, climates, and grape varieties converge to give each wine its unique identity. This first chapter delved into the origins of winemaking, illustrating why France holds such a singular and storied place in global history. Moving from the soil to the cellar, the exhibition unveiled the secrets of the Master Cellar.
A SYMPHONY FOR THE SENSES
Beyond the history and science, wine revealed itself through the senses. Through an immersive encounter with aromas, textures, and pairings, visitors were encouraged to experience wine beyond mere knowledge. It was an invitation to feel, to remember, and to be inspired by the evocative power of a single bouquet.
A RICH PROGRAMME OF EVENTS
Live Performances: Highlights included Reflections in Red, a multidisciplinary spontaneous performance, In Vivo Veritas, a captivating blend of theatre and wine tasting, and Introspections, an evocative oenological concert where music and wine moved in perfect harmony.
Wine Tasting Workshops: Education was at the heart of the experience, with 12 dedicated wine tasting workshops guided by experts, allowing participants to refine their palates and deepen their understanding of French appellations.
Screening: A curated selection of six screenings explored the world of wine and gastronomy, including two Ciné-Kids sessions, ensuring that even our youngest audiences could engage with the beauty of French landscapes and traditions.

The impact of À TABLE! From Vines to Wine resonated far and wide, making another milestone for our cultural programming:
Over 1,200 visitors joined us to celebrate the culture of wine.
The exhibition garnered an incredible 100+ media features.
These figures reflect the deep curiosity and passion with a circulation of over 82,867,190.
