Alliance Française de Singapour extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for the fourth edition of our annual gastronomic rendez-vous À TABLE ! part of French Excellence Programme. 

From exploring the history and legends of French Christmas markets to experiencing them in our gallery, each weekend was a celebration of French culinary heritage and Christmas magic. 

We would like to thank the 2000+ visitor for their enthusiasm and support. Each has taken home not only delicious treats and Christmas gifts but also wonderful memories.

Weekend One: Alpine Escape  

Kicking off the festivities, the gallery was transformed into a cozy mountain retreat. Seasonal treats inspired by the French Alps—cheese, cold cuts, and tarts—set the stage for indulgence. Chef Stéphane Frelon from Le Cordon Bleu delighted visitors with two live cooking demonstrations, filling the air with the irresistible aroma of Alpine delicacies.

Weekend Two: Sweet Wonderland

The following weekend brought the magic of holiday sweets to life. Visitors indulged in crêpes, chocolate, honey, and traditional Christmas biscuits, all perfectly paired with Maison Perrier® Sparkling Beverages. A true celebration of the flavors that evoke the warmth and sweetness of the festive season.

Weekend Three: Cheers to the Season 

A toast to the holidays filled the air as visitors sipped on festive drinks. Mulled wine, cider, Christmas wines, Champagne, liqueurs, and hot soft drinks created a symphony of flavors. Each sip brought warmth and cheer, from the spiced comfort of mulled wine to the crisp sophistication of Champagne.

Weekend Four: The Art of Gifting

The final weekend celebrated the elegance of giving. Visitors explored a curated selection of French-inspired gifts, from hampers and chocolate to jewelry and decorations. The gallery became a haven of refinement, showcasing the craftsmanship and thoughtfulness behind every perfect gift.

Workshops and Masterclasses: Where Learning Meets Pleasure

In between the weekends, family and friends gathered in our French Christmas cuisine to learn about Reveillon etiquette from the esteemed Catherine Baron, master mixology from the professional bartender Wong Wee Siong or learn it all about champagne and art history during a masterclass with Lucy Edwards!
