Drawn to Satire: Sketches of Cartoonists in Singapore
Why do the French love their BD so much? Revered as the 9th Art, the bandes dessinées (comics) and its cultural value and reputation remains high in France as adults read and take them seriously, unlike other countries.
Our guest speaker, Singapore writer CT Lim attended the Angoulême Comics Festival this year and he will share about his visit, as well as about his new book, Drawn to Satire: Sketches of Cartoonists in Singapore, a graphic novel about local cartoonists.
Presentation at 3pm, followed by book sale & signing onsite. In English.
