Neïla Salah grew up in Créteil, her dream is to become a lawyer. Enrolled at the prestigious Parisian university of Assas, she came up against Pierre Mazard, a professor notorious for his provocations and misdemeanours, on her very first day. To redeem himself, he agrees to prepare Neïla for the prestigious eloquence competition. Both cynical and demanding, Pierre could become the mentor she needs... but only if they can both overcome their prejudices.

Le Brio's strength lies in its sharp and clever dialogues, as well as in the precise performance of the actors. Yvan Attal succeeds to reflect upon social cliches with a light touch of humor while putting the art of French eloquence at its heart.
