Come and meet Dounia in this luminous and tender tale. This animated movie promises to move parents and kids alike through the innocent yet clever eyes of this Syrian little girl. André Kadi and Marya Zarif successfully deal with the thorny subjects that are war and immigration while retaining a touch of poetry, hope and humanity. A great way to raise awareness among children about the issues of war and exile.
