ART & BUBBLES | WORKSHOP & TASTING
Linocut Workshop – “France in Print”
Thursday 23 April 07:00 PM
Seminar room 1 , Alliance Française de Singapour
About the workshop
Explore the art of linogravure through the theme
of France.
In this creative workshop, you will design and carve your own linocut inspired
by iconic French elements — flowers, the Eiffel Tower, or any personal subject
connected to France.
Once your design is carved, you will print it in
classic red or blue on white cards for a clean, timeless
look.
You will also experiment with printing on newspaper,
creating a beautiful contrast between modern texture and traditional
printmaking.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who loves France, enjoys craftsmanship, and wants to learn the expressive techniques of linocut.
🎨 Technique: Linocut carving & printing
🇫🇷 Theme: French-inspired designs — floral motifs, Eiffel Tower, or
personal stories
🔵🔴 Colors: Red or blue ink on white card + print on newspaper
✨ Outcome: Unique prints
combining creativity, culture, and texture
Come carve, ink, and print your own French-themed
artwork!
All the materials will be provided during the workshop, and you will be able to express your artistry for a session of 2hrs in English.
