In September 2021, the public etablishment dedicated to the conservation and restoration of Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral (l’établissement public chargé de la conservation et de la restauration de la cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris) announced that the temporary structures built to secure the cathedral’s iconic towers, vaults, and walls were complete. The cathedral was finally stable enough for reconstruction efforts to begin.
