What is the link between food and diplomacy? Drawing from his rich experience leading the kitchens of the Elysée Palace from 1997 to 2021, Guillaume Gomez, author of À la table des présidents, will give us an insider's perspective into what goes on behind the scenes of state dinners and receptions at the presidential palace. Joining the panel will also be Mr. Laurent Stefanini, Ambassador of France to Monaco and author of À la table des diplomates - a historical account of how France transformed its cuisine into a diplomatic asset - who will share with us the ongoing importance of gastronomy in forging ties between countries. The conference will be introduced by Mr Marc Abensour, Ambassador of France to Singapore
Panels will be held in the Alliance Française theatre with an allowance of 50 people (max).
