For continuing students having already completed A2 level. Reinforce oral and written communication skills emphasizing everyday life topics all along the Advanced B1 level using Alter Ego+2 and Le Nouvel Edito B1. At this level you will deepen your vocabulary and expand your capacity to have complex conversations. B1 is the minimum level of proficiency required by French universities for students who wish to undertake tertiary studies in France.
Advanced B1 level can be completed in 9 or 13 terms or in 7 months (crash course).
B1 – You will be able to:
- understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
– deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken
– produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest
– describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans
At the end of B1, you can take the DELF B1 exam, an official and international recognition of your level in French.
