FASHION ARTISAN WEEK – WORKSHOP WITH STEPHANIE COUDERT #1
Drawing a collection with a spiritual energy
Stéphanie Coudert is an established French Fashion Designer.
She gives the name « Maison Coudert » to a living collection that is continuously evolving. A structural axis to her work is the search for a link between East and West, formally translated by what she has called her « Tailleur flou », or « Flow tailor ».
The designer is guest member of the Haute Couture calendar and received several prizes in France such as the Grand Prize for Creation of the City of Paris in 2014.
Stéphanie Coudert will explain how she creates outfits from the shapes she knows and imagine new fabrics from the energy of the painting.
She will share how the tools used (chinese ink, large or thin pencils, felt pens, chalk pastels) bring ideas matching the energy of a customer and a collection. You will explore how using only colorful inks let you create unexpected outfits and open your imagination.
