In this workshop, participants will learn and understand the basics of music making with Ableton Live. Ableton Live is a fast, fluid and flexible software for music creation and performance. It comes with effects, instruments, sounds and all kinds of creative features that you need to make any kind of music. At the end of the session, participants will be able to put their musical ideas together and grasp many unique approaches in music making with Live.
Syafiq Halid is an Ableton Certified Trainer, sound designer and percussionist based in Singapore. As a sound designer, he enjoys exploring and experimenting with sound in different forms. His personal work revolves around his own imagined style from percussions, samples, sound and electronic music. He discovered Live in 2012 and incorporated it into various theatre and dance performance productions.
