Among many processes of handcrafting a jacket, the canvassing step is the most important.
Canvassing consists of putting a particular hand-stitched interlining against the fabric at the front of the inside jacket, in order to guarantee its carrure and duration.
This workshop aims to realize this canvassing step for one jacket’s front: made by hand, the sewing points aim to fix the fabrics on the canvas. It requires naturally eyesight, and a sense of touch too.
