La Médiathèque celebrates Valentine’s Day with Imran Hashim!
Come and listen to the hilarious story of Anabelle Thong, a devout Catholic schoolteacher who moves to Paris in search of love. In the process, her worldview is turned upside down, as she experiences culture shock in France…
Imran Hashim fell in love with France and studied French at the National University of Singapore. He went on to win a French government scholarship for his postgraduate studies at the Sorbonne and Sciences Po Paris. The talk will be moderated by Hashim’s friend Maxime Pilon, French writer and teacher living in Singapore.
Wine and soft drinks will be served.

Café de France has permanently ceased its activity. Three new vending machines have been installed on the staircase landings: hot drinks (2nd floor) and cold drinks/snacks (3rd floor). A new café will open in a few months.
