Our traditional French Friday returns on June 22! Wine, friends, games and food await you once again along with a free trial course for all of you who’ve been dying to give the French language a try. Brace yourself, grab a friend, and get on board for another one of our epic French “soirées”.
6pm to 7.30pm: Workshop | A great year for sports!
2018 is another year where sport will be at the centre of many people’s attention as the football World Cup will take place in Russia from the 14th of June to the 15th of July. This French Friday workshop will be the perfect opportunity to come to Alliance Française and enjoy 1.5 hours of conversation in French on sports! Come with your favorite stories, teams and sports and let’s figure out all together who has the best odds to win the world cup!

During our French Friday, get a taste of the French language in a fun and relaxed atmosphere: pronounce “Bonjour” and “Ça va” the right way! In just one hour you will learn basic greetings and how to introduce yourself, as well as some other easy key words to start a conversation with native French people.
Relax and imagine that you are sipping a glass of wine in Paris. You’ll enjoy delicious French food and plenty of network opportunities. English or any other language is welcome. Some native French speakers will join to moderate small conversation groups and help people get to know each other.
Synopsis : Marc Châtaigne, trainee at the Ministry of the Standard, is entrusted with a delicate mission by the minister’s director: to go to Guyana to monitor the first indoor ski track in Amazonia. He is accompanied by Tarzan a pretty trainee who serves as a driver. A car accident will change their plans.

Please also take note of our new pricing starting on 15th of May 2018: first 2 hours at $2.50 per hour and subsequent 30 minutes or part thereof at $1.25 for cars and first 2 hours at $1.50 per hour and subsequent 30 minutes or part thereof at $0.75 for motorcycles. Payment will only be made using the cash card. Cash payment will not be accepted.
Café de France has permanently ceased its activity. Three new vending machines have been installed on the staircase landings: hot drinks (2nd floor) and cold drinks/snacks (3rd floor). A new café will open in a few months.
