Synopsis:

Tim is a grade 11 student dealing with the passing of his mother several years ago and his own sexuality as a 16 going on 17. At the age of 12, he was a star runner with his mother as his coach. Her death caused him to give up running and he is often harassed and bullied by the jocks at school. Tim eventually decides to start running again and expands his circle of friends. Jeff, his main competitor on the track, continues to harass Tim and blackmails him to hurt Tim’s performance on the track with disastrous results.
