Florence Aubenas has covered numerous events in Rwanda, Kosovo, Algeria, Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as several major trials in France. She was particularly known for her coverage of the trial of Outreau, having been one of the first to express, in particular in her book La Méprise, her doubts on the guilt of the defendants finally cleared, as well as for the taking of hostages, of which she and her Iraqi guide were the subject in 2005. What is the job of a great reporter, both in everyday life in drama and emotion? The life of Florence Aubenas merges with this profession and reflects its requirements, its joys and its dangers, from Baghdad to Kabul.
