Remi is an orphan boy, who was raised by Madam Barberin. At the age of 10, he is forced to leave his adoptive mother and he is entrusted to Signor Vitalis, an itinerant musician. With him, he learns the life of an acrobat and a musician in the streets and develops his singing skills. Remi will start a long and adventurous journey across France with Vitalis, his dog Capi and the little monkey Joli-Coeur, which will lead him to the secret of his origins.
